The cost of your pond project will vary depending on size, features, and materials. Our custom pond designs typically start at approximately $8,000 for smaller ponds (up to 90 sq. ft.) and increase based on complexity and additional features like waterfalls, lighting, and filtration systems.
We recommend a minimum depth of 1.5 feet for your pond, with an average depth of 2 feet for optimal fish health and ecosystem balance.
To maintain a healthy pond ecosystem, we recommend circulating the entire volume of water at least 2-3 times per hour. For example, a 500-gallon pond would need a 1,500 GPH (gallons per hour) pump.
Our pond-building timeline depends on the size and complexity of the project. Small ponds (up to 90 sq. ft.) can often be completed in as little as 3 days, while larger projects usually take no more than 2 weeks.
The ideal pond size depends on your preferences, available space, and budget. We’ll work with you to determine the perfect dimensions for your property and vision. Our most common pond size is 11×16 feet.
The bottom of your pond will have layers of protective fabric, a durable 45 mil EPDM liner, and a layer of gravel to create a stable and healthy environment for your aquatic life.

It might sound cheesy but getting a pond will change how you enjoy your life. Site Pros exceeded our expectations when building our pond in every way.
